commissioned by das weisse haus&nbsp; Invited to produce a site-responsive sound piece for dwhX, Austria&rsquo;s first all black, all female-identifying DJ and MC collective Bad &amp; Boujee created &ldquo;denvvir&rdquo; (2022), an idiosyncratic soundscape that transports the collective&rsquo;s critical engagement with space and sound into the digital realm.&nbsp; Emanating from their ongoing reflection on what it takes to create and maintain a safer space, Bad &amp; Boujee have produced an ungraspable, disobedient assemblage of sonic spheres. The base frequency of &ldquo;denvvir&rdquo; (2022) is a digitally produced melody that responds to dwhX&rsquo;s environment in its abstraction. The sense of harmony that this melody develops is, however, subverted by deliberate breaks, fade-outs and hick-ups. In different sequences, Bad &amp; Boujee have incorporated field recordings crafted with noise from the physical everyday: furniture being moved, a bike being locked, water streaming. In so doing, they disorientate us, fuse the analogue with the digital and challenge us with new routes for listening.&nbsp; 
Bio&nbsp; Bad &amp; Boujee - Austria's first all black, all female-identifying DJ and MC collective - was founded by the Viennese-born Elisabeth Mtasa and Enyonam Tetteh-Klu. Together with their resident DJs Tonica Hunter, Tmnit Ghide and resident MC Tanya Moyo, they organize events, creating spaces that are inclusive, open to people of any origin, sexual orientation and identity.&nbsp;

denvvir

dwhX is a new post-digital platform conceived by DAS WEISSE HAUS to critically explore the increasing entanglements between the digital and analogue worlds. A hybrid organism with changing rhythms and intensities, dwhX hosts a range of different programs with varying lifetimes. Interdependent with dwh’s physical exhibition space and its studio and residency program studio das weisse haus, dwhX confidently positions itself as a necessarily incomplete and continuously learning entity. Born out of discussions and conversations with a plural cohort of artists, designers, developers, curators, theoreticians, hackers, gamers, lovers and opponents of the digital and others, it seeks to continue its journey with many more contributors.

**Chat Set** is a pilot project that seeks to connect Austria-based artists with international art professionals. Through a match-making process, a curator is introduced to two artists or artist collectives, which evolves into a live talk, an online studio visit, podcast or text. Many more matches will follow suit in the upcoming weeks, do stay tuned! The **garden** is an impertinent, discursive arena of sorts. A nexus between DAS WEISSE HAUS, STUDIO DAS WEISSE HAUS and dwhX, it features commissioned texts, interviews, conversations, podcasts, sound pieces and recordings of live events responding to and complexifying relevant themes from the artistic program of the Kunstverein. 

This section includes essays, poems, interviews, podcasts, and videos to expand and reflect on our physical program at das weisse haus in Vienna. Upholding the significance of an ongoing and reciprocal dialogue between the digital and the analog in a condition elsewhere refered to as “phygital”, “From the Analog with Love” brings together an interdisciplinary cohort of artists, curators, scholars, and many more.


**Past Perfect** is an irreverent archive of sorts. Offering material including podcasts, texts and videos produced by das weisse haus before the launch of dwhX, it grants insight into some of the Kunstverein’s past activities. However, rather than providing you with any complete or objective view on its past, “Past Perfect” epitomizes a disobedient, ever-growing debris of sources.

**Exhibition Expanded** digitally extends some of DAS WEISSE HAUS' physical shows. Devised to think the post-digital condition as an integral part of contemporary exhibition making, this format seeks to contribute to discussions around the relevance of digital as well as analog exhibitions and their potentially shared futures.

dwhX and the Interface Cultures Program (IC) at Kunstuniversität Linz have partnered up to jointly launch a fellowship that is geared at the curation and practical realization of the post-digital institution. Besides, together with students and alumni of the program, dwhX will develop sustainable parameters for the production and dissemination of contemporary art through online studios.

*Writing Room* is a project built on participatory workshops that aims not only to teach skills around writing, but also to forge deep connections between students, writers, and the world between analog and digital literacies. Over a period of more than thirteen weeks, ten participants embarked on the extensive journey from an idea to a finished text, learning everything about the culmination of the art of writing.

Once a year, specially selected artistic positions are invited to design a commission that expands and accompanies the dwhX platform. For a period of one year, the commissions appropriate and adapt the digital space of DAS WEISSE HAUS, using diverse media to forge innovative approaches and contemporary perspectives on digitality – making them visible and open for discussion.
